The hexapod is used as a moving platform simulating the motion of an object in space. Application of adaptive controllers implemented on FPGA (field-programmable gate array) makes it possible to increase system performance, receive feedback with high accuracy, and adapt control for various tasks, taking into account strict technical requirements when designing complex mechatronic systems for the aerospace industry.
Flexible control system settings allow the operator to create control algorithms, define feedbacks, introduce compensation coefficients. Integration with HIL simulators and mathematical models of objects under test is possible.
